Almost three months have passed since Israel’s dramatic elections, and we are witnessing, with the new government, massive protests in the streets, increased military violence in the occupied territories, and radical reforms that government is attempting to force through.
These are the circumstances under which we continue to promote education for democracy and peace.
It’s time to zoom in on the situation in Israel/Palestine, with two of the most prominent speakers on current events.
We are inviting you to a Zoom panel discussion to learn together and share some thoughts.

We will reckon with the aftermath of the Israeli elections and the stark impact of the new government on democratic discourse and human rights. With an ultranationalist coalition in power and Itamar Ben Gvir as Minister of Security, it is vital that all of us invested in a vibrant culture of democracy and political expression take stock of the current moment in light of the broader trajectory of occupation.
